According to the report as at the state Assembly on the 22nd Nov 2011, Datuk Musa said, effort by Petronas to develop the oil and Gas is on the right track. It was proven via the National oil corporation's huge investment in several mega upstream and downstream projects which worth more than RM45billion. In helping Sabahans to venture into oil and Gas sector, 29 Sabah-based licensed company has been awarded contracts to undertake oil and gas-related work in the state, by Petronas (since January 2005 until Nov 10 2011) . Meanwhile a total 159 Sabahans have been recruited to fill various posts at the Petronas Office (January-October 2011). Datuk Musa Also informed that 42 people have been appointed to executive position, 117 appointed to non-executive position, 40 hired as a permanent staff and 2 as contract employees. Up to september 2011, a total 470 Sabahans currently working under companies at the Sabah Oil and Gas Terminal (SOGT) in Kimanis. The cost for the massive project is RM4.6 billion. The 1st phase costing RM3.8 billion is schedule to be completed in 2013.

Tourism Sector Contribution to State's Economy
As up to September 2011 the tourism sector has so far contributed RM 3.662 billion to the state's economy. A total 2,096,202 tourists (617,260 Foreign tourist and 1,478,942 local tourist) arrived since January this year. According to our Tourism, Culture and Environment minister Datuk Masidi Manjun, about 24,393 tourist has been staying in Mabul island, and Kapalai for scuba diving and snorkeling in Sipadan. These info was reported by Datuk Masidi at the State Legislative Assembly (Chaired by CM Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman) on last monday 21st November 2011.

Greater KK Flood Prevention Committee
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman is very concern about the heavy rain that causing flood in certain areas. There were some several areas hit by the flash floods 4 days ago (19 Nov 2011). In order to prevent the same situation to be occurred again and again, there will be a formation of the Greater Kota Kinabalu Flood Prevention Committee. This committee is to prevent further flooding. Datuk Musa Also instructed, the drainage system shall be planned before any housing project could proceed.
In every problem there must be a way to solve it, we only have to think and make a move like jagger :))) Happy Day!.
